Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 February 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Saiko Music Group Ltd ("Saiko", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Saiko Intelligence platform ("Platform").

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, maintain sessions, and provide essential functionality. The Platform also uses browser storage mechanisms (sessionStorage) that function similarly to cookies for maintaining your session.

2. Cookies We Use

We use only strictly necessary cookies and session storage required for the Platform to function. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Name / TypePurposeDurationCategory
saiko_token JWT access token for authenticating API requests Session (cleared on browser close or logout) Strictly necessary
saiko_user Current user profile data (name, email, role) for UI display Session Strictly necessary
saiko_tenant Current tenant configuration (branding, slug) for portal rendering Session Strictly necessary
saiko_active_tab Remembers which campaign tab was last active Session Strictly necessary (functional)
saiko_main_chat Preserves main AI chat conversation across page refreshes Session Strictly necessary (functional)
saiko_cookie_consent Records whether the user has acknowledged the cookie banner 1 year (localStorage) Strictly necessary

3. Session Storage vs. Cookies

The Platform primarily uses sessionStorage rather than traditional HTTP cookies. Key differences:

  • sessionStorage data is only available within the current browser tab and is automatically cleared when the tab is closed.
  • sessionStorage data is not sent with HTTP requests (unlike cookies), reducing data exposure.
  • This approach means your authentication tokens are not transmitted with every page request — they are only included in API calls via JavaScript.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We do not currently set or allow any third-party cookies on the Platform. Specifically:

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies
  • No social media tracking pixels
  • No third-party analytics cookies

If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and seek your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

5. Managing Cookies

Since all our cookies and storage are strictly necessary for the Platform to function, disabling them will prevent you from using the Platform. However, you can manage cookies through your browser settings:

  • Clear session data: Close your browser tab to clear all sessionStorage data.
  • Clear all data: Use your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature to remove all stored data for the Platform.
  • In-app: Use the /clear command in the AI chat to clear session data.

6. Future Analytics

If we implement analytics in the future, we will:

  • Choose a privacy-respecting analytics provider
  • Update this Cookie Policy before implementation
  • Request your consent for any non-essential cookies via our cookie consent banner
  • Provide clear opt-out mechanisms

7. Changes to This Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy if we change how we use cookies or browser storage. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform.
